season Jacob earned his
third basketball letter at
CJHS. A two-year
starter for Coach Ryan
Odaffer, Jacob averaged
over 6 points and nearly 3
assists and 3 steals per
game.
Jacob's
career high of 16 points
came against Kansas
perennial power St. Mary's
Colgan. From his
point guard position,
Jacob handed out 5 or
more assists three times
this season, including
most recently against
Joplin. He also
recorded 6 or more steals
in a game four times this
year.
Jacob
has received three awards
from CJ coaches and
teammates, earning the
"Defensive MVP"
as a senior, as well as
the "Most Improved
Player" award in
2008-09 and the
freshman team's
"Defensive Player of
the Year" honor in
2006-07.
